Steal this Look: Audrina Patridge

06.08.2011

Now, part of me thinks Audrina needs to eat a couple of cheese burgers (girl, you sometimes look a bit skeletor), but I can’t help but love this look. All of her beauty choices are perfect for summer.

Get a great FAKE tan: This is easier said than done because I myself love a great day at the beach (and the occasional tanning bed…whoops) but if you can, opt for a great spray tan. The tan gives an immediate all over glow which creates the illusion of health. Also, it instantly makes you look thinner.

Streak blonde highlights: I like her hairstyle actually because I feel like almost anyone can pull this off. If you have naturally darker hair, channel more of a Jessica Alba look and go for a caramel instead of a blonde.

Hot pink nails: Loving this trend. Last summer was all about lavender nails and I am glad to see pink making a come back. Against the tan, it’s a super cute touch for summer.

Fresh faced: There is nothing worse than wearing too much make up in the sun. Use concealer to cover up the blemishes but keep everything else pretty neutral. Try a tinted moisturizer with a bit of translucent powder over the top. Don’t go overboard on the eyes either. Keep it simple.

Soft natural gloss: Ladies, a tinted gloss makes such a  big difference to complete your look (Heather can attest to my persistence on this). You don’t need to go crazy and wear red hot gloss like I do sometimes. A simple soft pink or nude will create a soft sensual lip and brighten your face with a little shine.

Here are 4 great examples of soft pinks from my personal make up stash:

Benefit Ultra Shines in Nudie-tude: $18

Dior Addict Ultra Gloss: $30

Bobbi Brown Gloss in Pink Quartz: $22

Chanel Levres Scintillantes Glossimer in Seashell: $28.50
