I have had a chance to reflect over the course of the last 3 weeks on Rosemount Australian Fashion Week (I was feeling a bit overloaded by all the coverage!) and the looks that came down the runway made me very excited to break out my spring and summer wardrobe and also to go shopping. Here are my favs from RAFW.

Some Trends to Watch Out For:

White: It seemed that a lot of the designers had elements of white in their collections. White always looks fresh and crisp on a warm summers day.

Neon Colors: I saw TONS of neon greens, yellows, and pinks during the collection shows. The key here though is to not go overboard. My favorite pieces were the ones that had hints of neon peaking through the fabric or used as an accent.

Movement: Dresses, floor length skirts, and long bathing suit cover ups were all the rage @ RAFW. Find clothes for spring and summer that flatter your figure but still carry an element of movement as you walk about town.

Leather: This was surprising to me. Leather shorts, dresses, and skirts in neutral, white, and color paired with flowy tops also seemed to be a designer go to for spring and summer. Love it!
