I love this look on Kit. Seeing that she is only 17 (I know, she looks incredible), I didn’t want to do her make up exactly like the Miranda Kerr inspiration. I wanted her to still look age appropriate but share some of those sultry elements. I started by doing her eyes first because when you are applying heavy blacks or browns to create that smokey eye look, you are bound to get fall out shadow over your cheeks which is nearly impossible to get off if you already have on powder and foundation. I finished the rest of her make up (foundation, concealer, powder, bronzer, blush, contouring, and eye brow filler) before adding a jet black liquid liner and a combo of Chanel and Mac lipsticks to create this youthful yet dramatic evening look.
Tip: Kit was really smart. She sent me photos of what she wanted a week in advance so I could prepare and had images with her at the make up session for me to use as guidelines. If you are going to have your make up done for a dance, wedding, or special occasion, bring a photograph of some looks you like to give your make up artist some direction.
