Interview: BMG Model Stevie Finedore

Stevie Finedore, 18, from Lake Zurich, IL, and a BMG model just has get through her senior year of high school and she’s off to Manhattan, NY to live and be a full time model.

PDS intern Ally Straussner interviewed Stevie to get a fresh perspective of an up-and-coming model and to grasp all the craziness that comes with it.

 

1.You were just recently in a Gossip Girl Episode Modeling. Can you tell me a little bit about that?

-This was a completely new experience for me, and I’m so glad I got the opportunity! The cast was all so down to earth and fun! It was long hours but totally worth it at the end of the day!

 

2.Who is your favorite designer?

-Tribune standard he’s has a fresh new look to chic clothes. He is so fun and treats his girls [models] like they’re his sisters, which I appreciate so much!

 

3.Favorite photo-shoot?

-My favorite shoot was one that i actually just did! It was an evolving edgy editorial with Joseph Castleberry and his girlfriend as the MUA/hair. They both taught me so much as a model and are an amazing power couple and quite the jokesters. The looks i did were from natural to shooting in inches of mud and pouring rain to a 50′s bowling look. It was such an experience!

 

4.Who is your role model?

-Karlie Kloss (Mother Model Management Model)

 

5.Favorite color?

-Green!

 

6.What is one thing you do to dress up an outfit?

-My black leather jacket and gold accessories

 

7.Name one thing you cannot get ready without in the morning.

-My mac concealer for my awful bags [under my eyes]

8.What do you do in your spare time?

-When I’m not in class working or at the gym I try to be as normal of a high school by hanging with my friends

 

 

9.What do you aspire to be when you get older?

-My dream is to a victoria secret model! After my modeling career is over i would like to teacher special education

 

10.How do you balance schoolwork and modeling?

-Luckily my school has been so helpful and allows me to part time school so I can work as much as possible! Its difficult at time to keep up homework but I’m so close to graduating I cant give up!

 

11.Explain your style to our readers.

-I like taking simple clothes like skinny jeans boots and a simple t-shirt and spicing it up with accessories and layers. My style has definitely evolved now that I’m a New Yorker.
