The other day I went to the Saks in Beverly Hills with my LA bff, Marilyn. She wanted to get a few work dresses that could transfer over to night time events. In addition to dresses, she needed a great bag that would make a statement against a black dress. The obvious choice was the YSL Large Clutch in Moon. Such a timeless bag, she can wear it when she’s 60! While Marilyn was trying on all the outfits I picked out, I decided to try on possible Golden Globe dresses…just in case I get invited last minute (beyond unlikely but a girl can dream!) It was a fun day.

We also found two dreamy lip sticks by Julie Hewett in Celeste and Femme Noir purchased at Le Pink in Silverlake. Great matte lip colors that work perfectly for blonde’s. I also picked a new polish by Butter called ‘Hen Night’, it’s a neutral light pink color with an iridescent shine. Normally I hate iridescent nail polish and always stick to matte finishes but ‘Hen Night’ looks chic not trashy. xx
