The time has come for me to start thinking about my next addition. Could I request a post on great go-to everyday bags for the $300-$800 price range roughly? My darling Whitney. My first thought for you is…Tila March.  This new designer is right up your alley and fits the “not trying too hard but still look super fashionable vibe” you Aussie girls are so good at pulling off (you are the skinniest bitches I have ever met!).

 

I think you should go for a tan bag this year. Last years look was grey, studded, refined leather. Lets switch it up and do a more adult structured looking bag with lux gold details. What I see you using as your everyday bag is the Halston Heritage black leather tote, very simple but loaded with style.  If you go with a Tila March, which I also recommend you should try and order it online.  Planning is essential, order online and definitely call the stores ahead of time.  I would try Kisan Concept Store or Bloomingdales in NY on your next visit.

 

If you feel like dropping serious cash this time around, I would opt for a Mulberry bag. This brand is still pretty under the radar in the US.  Allowing you to be subtle about your love for material things, lol. I would invest in one of the high quality classic tan leather bags. Way more exciting than a Louis Vuitton, wish I had one.

 

Last but not least, Marc Jacobs has a timeless collection of leather bags this year. Love the old glamorous feminine vibe of the bags. Reminds me of what my grandma would wear back in the Fifty’s.
